Roy Edward Treadway, Jr., 68, of Hillsboro, died Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019, at 5:42 p.m. at his residence.
Cremation rites were accorded, and no services are planned at this time. Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro is assisting the family.
Mr. Treadway was born Feb. 14, 1951, in Hillsboro, to the late Roy Edward and Veda Mae (Weidner) Treadway. He married Virginia Durbin, and she survives.
A graduate of Hillsboro High School, he lived in Hillsboro his entire life. He was a painter. He had worked for Illinois Consolidated, and as a gunsmith for the last 25 years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by six children, Eric, Kelly, Scott, Clint, Katina and Regan; several grandchildren; and one sister, Verla of Swansea.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
