S.A.A.D. (Standing Against Addiction and Drugs) will host an open house on Tuesday, Aug. 27, beginning at 4:30 p.m.
The open house will focus on Heroin Opioid Prevention Education (H.O.P.E.), particularly developing treatment models. The evening will begin with a group discussion, followed by private individual interviews conducted by Brandi Richardson Young. A meal will be served at 5 p.m.
The upcoming H.O.P.E. discussions are open to all residents in Montgomery, Christian, Clay, Cumberland, Douglas, Logan, Mason, Moultrie, Pike and Shelby counties. All who are affected by opioid addiction are encouraged to attend.
The meeting will be held at 119 West State Street in Nokomis.
