Sandra (Isaak) Miura of Kyoto, Japan, formerly of Hillsboro, died Friday, June 14, 2019, at 11 a.m.
Funeral services were held in Kyoto, Japan.
She married Yukio Miura, and they had one child, Ken.
A 1965 graduate of Hillsboro High School, she graduated from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale in 1971. She taught English in universities in Japan for over 30 years.
In addition to her son, Ken, and ex-husband, Yukio, both of Kyoto, Japan, she is survived by her sister, Sharon Bayliff of Hillsboro; nephews, Scott Bayliff of Fenton, MO, and Mike Bayliff of Independence, MO; and several great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Eileen Isaak; and brother-in-law, Bill Bayliff.
