Sandra Kay Grigg, 79, of Witt died on Friday, July 3, 2026, at 1:16 p.m. at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 9, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home in Nokomis. Following the visitation Mrs. Grigg will be cremated and there will be no service.
Mrs. Grigg was born on March 31, 1947, in Hillsboro, the daughter of Alfred Pearse and Pauline Loretta (Mclean) Pearse.
She married Oral Grigg in 1994 and he preceded her in death. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Nokomis and enjoyed garage sales, thrifting, spending time with family and crafting.
Mrs. Grigg is survived by her son, Eric (Dee) Williamson of Mattoon and Khristy (Jeff) Vruggink of Zeeland,MI; grandchildren, Daylan Williamson, Chloe Williamson, Allie Quillian, Samuel Vruggink, Kelby Goff and Skyler Goff; great-grandchildren, Abele Williamson and Riley Quillian; brothers, Larry Pearse and Gary Pearse; sister, Marilyn Carver; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Gracie Faith Williamson; sisters, Kathy Settle, Sharon Lindstrom, Nancy Huddleston and Patricia Curry; and brother, Dennis Pearse.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Nokomis.
Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home in Nokomis is assisting the family with arrangements.
