Scott Wynn, 77, of Scottsdale, AZ, died  on Sunday, April 5, 2026 in Scottsdale.

Mr. Wynn was born in Peoria on March 15, 1949, and attended St. Mary’s in Litchfield with his older brother, Michael. He graduated from Litchfield High School in 1967. He was raised at the Litchfield Dairy Queen by his mother, Marie Eades, and his stepfather, Walter Eades.

After graduation, Mr. Wynn continued his education at Arizona State University (ASU). After graduating from ASU, he worked several jobs before deciding to travel the world working at various stops in Tahiti, Australia, Southeast Asia, Santa Barbara, CA, and Virginia before settling down in Scottsdale working until retirement in whole sale nursery sales. For a short time, he was married and welcomed the birth of his son, Michael Casey Pepe.

It was in Scottsdale that Mr. Wynn met and married the love of his life, Jennifer “Jenny” Lelakus. They celebrated 26 anniversaries together before she passed in December of 2020. They loved spending time on their boat, traveling (especially to Mexico) and generally laughed their way through life together.

Mr. Wynn was a lifetime St. Louis Cardinal baseball fan. He brought his great sense of humor, infectious smile, easygoing attitude and genuine heart and soul to all the friends and family he surrounded himself with throughout his life.

Mr. Wynn is survived by his son, Michael Casey Pepe, wife Lynn and their daughter Ava, of Hermosa Beach , CA; brother, Michael C. Wynn and wife, Kathleen “Kathy” of Santa Rosa Beach, FL; nephew, Michael Alec Wynn of Santa Rosa Beach, FL; niece, Molly (Wynn) Banuelos of River Forest; a host of cousins, mostly Peoria “Wynn” girls; and many long-time friends.

Mr. Wynn is preceded in death by his wife, Jennifer Lelakus; father, Cyril Richard Wynn; mother, Maria (Hybiski) Wynn Eades; stepbrothers, Steve and Jerry Eades; special aunt, Helen Hybiski; and uncles, Steve and Eddie Hybiski.
