Shane Joseph Horve, 28, of Nokomis, died on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Hillsboro Area Hospital.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11 a.m., on Friday, Aug. 4. at Stiehl Dawson Funeral Home in Nokomis, with funeral services immediately following at 11 a.m. The burial will follow the services at Edinburg Cemetery in Edinburg.
Mr. Horve was born on Nov. 10, 1994, in Springfield, to Bradley Horve and Debra Disney. He married Stephanie Townsend on Aug. 6, 2016, in Taylorville. Mr. Horve was a construction worker with H. D. Exteriors in Nokomis.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Horve is survived by four children, Carley Townsend, Claire Horve, Carson Horve and Carter Horve, all of Nokomis; his mother, Debra Disney of Taylorville; four siblings, Trevor Horve of Taylorville, Rylee of North Carolina, Andy Foster of Taylorville and Tommy Foster of Taylorville; and his grandfather, Lester Disney of Taylorville.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bradley Horve.
