Sharon Elaine Moore, 73, of Litchfield, died at 6:25 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2020, at HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.

Private family memorial services will be held at a later date. Plummer Funeral Home of Litchfield is assisting the family with arrangements. 

Ms. Moore was born on May 7, 1947, in Highland, a daughter of Edward Eugene and Harriet Prue (Hayman) Moore. She graduated from Hillsboro High School with the Class of 1965.

Ms. Moore’s main focus was being a homemaker.  She had previously worked for Community Care as a caregiver, Affinia and she worked at both Hillsboro and Coffeen Casey’s as a donut and pizza maker. In her spare time, she enjoyed puzzles, knitting and spending time with her grandchildren. 

Ms. Moore is survived by two daughters, Jacqueline (Robert) Hendrix-Brown of Jacksonville, FL, and Michelle (Matt) Waldeck of Raymond; three step-sons, Rick (Kathy) Guyot of Nokomis, Kevin (Tracy) Guyot of Nokomis and Michael Guyot of Jacksonville, FL; a step-daughter, Tina Jeffrey of Orange Park, FL; one brother, Paul (Tracy) Moore of Benld; four sisters, Bonnie (Lynn) Randle of Irving, Kathy Vanhooser of Litchfield, Pamela (Jerry) Holt of Mascoutah, Melissa (Casey) Wahley of Benld; several grandchildren, Michael (Hannah) Hendrix, Mitchell (Sarah) Hendrix, Steven Brown and Macey Waldeck; and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Richard Moore, Jackie Moore and William Moore; and two sisters, Ramona Katava and Leah Moore.
