Sheryl Ann Beechler, 66, of Carlinville, formerly of Litchfield, died on Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at 10:59 a.m., at Hallmark Rehab in Carlinville.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m., until the time of service on Saturday, May 8, at Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m., at the funeral home, with Don Hudelson of Hillsboro officiating. Burial will be at Edgewood Cemetery in Litchfield. There will be a funeral luncheon at the Fireman’s Clubhouse following the services. Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mrs. Beechler was born on Sept. 15, 1954, in Litchfield, a daughter of William Paul and Esther Fay (Johnson) Schultz. She married John Louis Beechler on Oct. 21, 1972, at Zion Lutheran Church in Litchfield, he preceded her in death on Jan. 24, 2001. She was a manager at Hardees in Litchfield and later worked at the Litchfield News-Herald. In her earlier years she worked at Burger Chef in Litchfield.
Mrs. Beechler is survived by her sons, John Paul (Mary) Beechler of Owaneco, Sean (Ashley) Beechler of Bertrand, MO, and Jimmy (Sara) Beechler of Litchfield; siblings, Bill Schultz of Irving, Ruth (Dennis) Wilkolaski of Irving, Judy Schultz of Irving and Carol Hedium of Vancouver, WA; nine grandchildren, Caitlyn, Johnathon, Ethan, Dalton, Jacen, Tyler, Christina, Alexis and Brody.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband.
