Shirley Katherine Doht, 78, of St. Louis, MO, died Saturday, July 25, 2020, at her residence.
A private family funeral service and burial will take place in St. John’s Cemetery, South Litchfield Township in Litchfield with the Rev. Cassie Sexton Riggs officiating. Becker and Son Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Ms. Doht was born Aug. 20, 1941, in Litchfield, to Alvin and Norma (Sewing) Doht.
She attended Immanuel Lutheran Grade School and graduated from Mt. Olive High School with the class of 1959.She grew up in the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Mt. Olive.
Employed as a secretary for the St. Louis County Treasury, she enjoyed reading, crafting, having lunch with friends, dining out, traveling and collecting knick-knacks and dolls.
She is survived by one brother, John (Mary) Doht of Litchfield; one nephew, John (Elaine) Doht, Jr. of Litchfield; one niece, Tracy Doht of Mt. Olive; two great-nieces; one great-nephew; and one great-great-niece.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one great-niece, Emily.
