Star Jill Becker, 72, of Litchfield, died on Sunday, April 14, 2019, at 4:50 p.m. at Hillsboro Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

Visitation will be held Saturday, May 11, from 9:30  a.m. until the time of service at Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield. Funeral services will follow at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. James Tinzmann, former pastor of St. Timothy United Methodist Church in Litchfield, officiating. Burial will be held in Memorial Park Cemetery in Staunton.

Ms. Becker was born Feb. 12, 1947, in Litchfield, to Irwin Louis and Mary Pauline (Britton) Becker, and was raised along with her siblings in a loving home.

She attended local schools. She was a lifelong member of St. Timothy United Methodist Church in Litchfield and a member of the Litchfield Kitchen Band for many years, and enjoyed entertaining in the local and neighboring towns' nursing homes.

Ms. Becker's favorite place was the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum in Springfield and she visited there often. She enjoyed reading about all the presidents and first ladies and was very knowledgeable about their history. She was an avid plate collector and her collection included many presidential ones, as well as destination plates.

She enjoyed family photographs and had many photo albums, and loved viewing them and sharing her albums with others. She was a lifelong resident of Litchfield with the exception of the last seven years when she lived in Hillsboro Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

Ms. Becker was a very loving and caring person and will be missed.

She is survived by a sister, Paula Jo (Charles) May of La Verne, CA.

Ms. Becker was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Larry Gene Becker in infancy and Warren Earl Becker.

Memorials may be directed to St. Timothy United Methodist Church in Litchfield.
