Stephen Lester Terry, 69, of Wilsonville, died Tuesday, March 17, 2020, at 6:02 a.m. at HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.
Memorial services will be announced at a later time. Litchfield Family Funeral Services is assisting the family.
Mr. Terry was born March 7, 1951, in East St. Louis, a son of Lester Ellwood and Mary Helen (Berry) Terry. He married the former Anita Fay Hall on June 1, 1983, in Collinsville, and she survives.
A 1969 graduate of East Side High School in East St. Louis, he worked as a cable service installer for several years before his retirement. He loved being with his family, and enjoyed reading and searching on the internet.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, William (Vikki) Douglas of Houston, TX; three daughters, Carla Terry of Collinsville, Debbie (Greg) Elliott of Witt and Joyce (Jimmy) Hollen of Granite City; two brothers, Phillip (Kathleen) Featherstone of Springfield, MO, and Ken (Lois) Terry of Staunton; two sisters, Mary (Jim) Newmann of Louisville, KY, and Janice Terry of Kentucky; and seven grandchildren, David Guthier, Gregory Elliott, Kassandra (Tyler) Beel, Jeremy Terry, Jessie Jo Hollen, Haley (Austin) Mason and Emily Hollen.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Dale Terry; one sister, June Ballard; and one grandson, David Elliott.
