Susan Ann Shreve, 75, of Litchfield, died at Kindred Hospital St. Louis on April 10, 2024.
Memorial services are pending as Plummer Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Ms. Shreve was born in Litchfield, on April 1, 1949, a daughter of the late William Michael and Marie L. (Plopper) Shreve. She attended and graduated from Litchfield Community High School with the class of 1966.
She was a dedicated employee for 35 years with the State of Illinois, Secretary of State. She loved hosting family and friends for holidays and special occasions. She also raised parakeets and fish. Her dog, Bear, was always by her side. She was a loving sister and aunt.
Ms. Shreve is survived by her sister, Melissa (companion Chris McKeal) Hale, of Litchfield; eight nieces, Lynn Furlong, Patty (Mark) Jacobs, Leane Williams, Shelly (Henry) Bolen, Shannon Lehnen, Bree (companion Cameron Dever) Hale and Sheena Spencer; eight nephews, Stan (Brenda) Shreve, David Shreve, Jr., Joseph Shreve, Michael Shreve, Carl (Lisa) Shreve, Gary (Stacy) Shreve, Cody (Krystin) Hale and Miles Dever.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Gary Shreve, William Shreve Jr., Gene Shreve and David Shreve; and a sister, Jane Shreve.
