Susan J. Bost, age 73, of Springfield, formerly of Farmersville, died on Oct. 10, in Springfield..
Visitation will be held on Friday Oct. 18 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Hough Memorial Home in Farmersville. A memorial service will take place on Friday, at 6 p.m. with Fr. Allen officiating. Burial will be in St. Martins Cemetery.
Hough Funeral Homes is assisting the family.
Mrs. Bost was born on June 15, 1946, in East St. Louis to Charles and Mildred (Chitty) Moody. She married John Wayne Bost, Sr. in Belleville in 1974.
During her career, she had worked as a waitress and hairdresser.
Mrs. Bost is survived by her children Tim McClanahan of Ohio, John Bost of Springfield and Melinda (Jim) Macmillan of Springfield; grandchildren Samantha, Rebecca, Kayla, Keyawna and Noah; five great-grandchildren; and two sisters Shirley Daily and Judy Smith
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded by a daughter, Kimberly Ann Rovey and a sister, Marian McGehee.
