Suzanne “Sue” Wilton Oller, 75, of Litchfield, died on Friday afternoon, March 27, 2026, at Litchfield Health and Rehab Center in Litchfield.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 23, at 4 p.m., at the Litchfield Moose Lodge 1634, located at 221 N. Madison St. in Litchfield. Litchfield Family Funeral Service in Litchfield is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Oller was born on Jan. 23, 1951, in Washington, DC, a daughter of William Liggett and Mary Lou (Grady) Liggett, she graduated from Bladensburg High School and continued her education to become a medical secretary in Hagerstown, MD. She married Melvin L. Oller on Dec. 30, 1971, in Upper Malboro, MD and they had five children.
She started her career as a medical secretary for Prince George’s County and then with the National Institute of Health in Maryland in the Leukemia ward. Finally, she worked with the Army and Air Force through the Department of Defense, retiring in 2002. She enjoyed sewing, collecting antiques and was a foodie. She loved to try new and interesting cuisine. She loved her family dearly and will be missed by many.
Mrs. Oller is survived by her husband, Melvin L. Oller of Litchfield; son, Eric (Leanne) Oller of Troy; son, Chad (Carla) Oller of Collinsville; son, Kyle (Shelly) Oller of Troy; daughter, Jessica (Todd) Brock of Maryville; and son, Ryan (Jessica) Oller of Imperial, MO; grandchildren, Jack, Charlie, Kayla, Jake, Sam, Amelia, Cameron, Caitlyn, Alexis and Ellee; three great-grandchildren; brother, William (Merill) Liggett; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
