Terry Allen Page, 88, of Hillsboro, died at 3:10 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at his home.

Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. until the time of service at 12 p.m., at the Christian Church of Witt on Saturday, March 28. A dinner for family and friends will follow in the church fellowship hall.

Mr. Page was born on Jan. 18, 1938, in Terre Haute, IN, the son of Clifford E. Page, Jr., and Bernice M. (Bradford) Page. He married Carole R. (Gantzert) Page on Aug. 13, 1966, in Bloomington, and she survives.

A 1956 graduate of Patoka High School in Patoka, he received a B.S. and an M.S. from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston in 1961 and 1964, respectively.

Mr. Page began his teaching career at Buckley Loda High School from 1961-1969, teaching math and industrial arts. It was there where he met and married Carole, a social science teacher. The couple moved to Hillsboro for the 1969-1970 school year and he taught industrial, arts math and building trades until he retired in 1994. He taught half-time after retirement as well, one year at Taylorville and four years at Hillsboro.

He was an active member in both the community and the Christian Church of Witt, where he was a member and served as a treasurer, Sunday school teacher trustee, deacon and elder. A member of Sertoma Club, he lived quietly, serving neighbors and friends in his quiet and humble way. He enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting and flying model airplanes, and held his private pilot’s certificate. He was also a fish taxidermist for 60 years and an award-winning wildlife artist, carving birds and fish for 46 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was thankful to be able to celebrate his 88th birthday with much of his family in January.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Page is survived by his daughters, Alisa (Scott) Howen of Moberly, MO and Cara (Thaddeus) Pasdeck of Nokomis; son, Evan (Stephanie) Page of Overland Park, KS; brothers, Monte (Linda) Page of Neoga and Clifford (Luella) Page of Townsend, TN; and nine grandchildren, Bradford (Violet Spence) Howen, McCance Howen, Alexis Page, Cora Howen, Ryan Page, Anakin Pasdeck, Kylie Page, Archer and Axeton Pasdeck.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Montgomery County Cancer Association or the Christian Church of Witt.
