Lexi Lusk, a Hillsboro graduate, is only a freshman, but she is already making herself well known to Blackburn College women's soccer fans.
Lusk assisted the first goal of the Beavers' game against Rockford on Sept. 15, which was scored by Libby Adams at the 2:55 mark of the contest. It would end up being the game winning goal in the Beavers' 2-0 win.
Tess Saathoff (Hillsboro) and Aliese Greenwood (Hillsboro) both played in the game. Saathoff had one shot on goal and Greenwood started on defense. Blackburn is 2-5.
Austin Grabow (Hillsboro), Illinois College's starting center, helped IC post 306 yards of offense as the Blue Boys lost a 25-20 decision to Nebraska Wesleyan University. They passed for 229 yards and rushed for 77. IC finished with 14 first downs and three passing touchdowns. The Blue Boys are 1-1.
Jade Taylor (Litchfield) started both of Greenville University women's soccer games recently. In the 2-1 loss to Millikin University, she played 60 minutes. She played 41 minutes in the 4-1 loss to Monmouth College. Greenville is 2-5-1 overall.
Kenny Lauderdale (Litchfield) has played in six soccer games and made one start for Rockford University this year. The junior defensive player does not have any stats. Rockford is 3-5-1.
Mattison Morgan (Litchfield) has played in the first two St. Louis College of Pharmacy women's soccer games. In the 1-0 overtime loss to Park University, she started on defense. In the 7-0 loss to Fontbonne University, she subbed into the game. STLCOP is 0-2.
