Thomas "Spuds" Spudich Jr., 57, of Staunton, originally of Livingston, died on Monday, Sept. 2, 2019, in Staunton.

Visitation was held on Friday, Sept. 6, at Lesicko Funeral Home in Livingston. Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, Sept. 7, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Livingston, with Father Thomas Hagstrom officiating. Burial was at Sacred Heart Cemetery in New Douglas. Lesicko Funeral Home in Livingston assisted the family with arrangements.

Mr. Spudich was born on Friday, Nov. 24, 1961, in Litchfield, to Thomas Sr. and Helen (Chalovich) Spudich. He married Kathy Seipp on Sept. 21, 1991, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Staunton.

Mr. Spudich worked as an Assistant Superintendent of Maintenance for the Madison County Highway Department. He was currently a trustee for Olive Township. Mr. Spudich was a member of the Saint John Paul II Catholic Church in Mt. Olive.

He was also a member of the Staunton Sportsmans Club and the Forest Lake Fishing Club “14”. Mr. Spudich's favorite pastime was to be outdoors, where he enjoyed hunting and fishing with his wife and sons.

Mr. Spudich is survived by his wife; two sons, Alex Spudich and Stephen Spudich; a sister, Colleen Spudich; aunts, Mary Spudich and Rose Banjavcic; his mother-in-law, Carolyn Seipp; sisters-in-law, Kim (Jim) Matesa and Dana Seipp; a niece, Kelcie (Mike) Reinhardt; and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and father-in-law, Bill Seipp.
