The I-57 Dragstrip in Benton has been pretty good to Dustin Bryant over the last few weeks.
After winning the footbrake division at the track's weekly bracket racing series on July 27, Bryant has won twice more at Benton for a three-week streak in victory lane.
Both of Bryant's wins in August have come in the pro class, although he has continued to have success in footbrake as well.
On Aug. 3, Bryant beat out Tom Syers in the pro final to take the top spot and also made it to the quarterfinals in footbrake before bowing out.
On Aug. 10, Bryant would take the top spot over Javan Androff in the pro class and made it down to three cars in the semifinal, before being knocked out by his father, Phil Bryant. Mechanical issues would put Phil in second place in the class, keeping the Bryants from their second father-son double of the season.
Litchfield racer Corey Wood also finished in the money in Benton on Aug. 10, making it to the quarterfinals in footbrake.
