Tracy Joe White, 63, of Hillsboro, died in his home the afternoon of Friday, July 10, surrounded by family.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, July 13, at Toberman-Dean Funeral Home in Coffeen. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 14, at Toberman-Dean Funeral Home with the Rev. C.J. Dyas of Hillsboro Free Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery in rural Coffeen.

Mr. White was born on January 20, 1963, in Hillsboro, a son of Ivy Joseph and Mildred Mae (Liedner) White.

He was a skilled carpenter, and was a member of Carpenters Local #270 of Springfield. He enjoyed outdoor activities, particularly camping, being on his pontoon boat, hunting, fishing and hosting fish fries. He was a coach for the Hillsboro High School Bass Fishing Club. Most importantly, he was a family man and cherished every moment spent with them.

Mr. White is survived by his son, Kaleb Michael White of Hillsboro; daughters, Kelsey Joe (Jason) Heckman of Greenville, Madeline May White and Meagan Elizabeth White, both of Hillsboro; granddaughters, Kensley Jade Heckman, Blakely Ash Heckman and Rynlee May Heckman, all of Greenville; siblings, Terry (Janet) White of Coffeen, Joyce (Doyle) Conn of Sinton, TX, Danny White of Alton, Twyla White of Coffeen and Larry White of Taylor Springs; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ivy and Mildred White; and brothers, Michael White and Benny White.

Memorials may be directed to the Hillsboro High School Bass Fishing Club.
