Trent William Hoxsey, 50, of Girard, died on Thursday morning, Oct. 29, 2026, at his home in Girard.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, Nov. 5, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home, located at 226 N. Third St., in Girard. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 5, at the funeral home.
Mr. Hoxsey was born Aug. 17, 1976, in Litchfield, a son of William K. Hoxsey and Katherine J. (Sackett) Hoxsey. He was married to Marsha Gibson then after divorcing, married Sabrina Simmons, they later divorced as well.
He was a member of the U.S. Army as a 91B (wheeled vehicle mechanic). He was a construction worker for many years. He worked at Bunn-O-Matic and had various jobs throughout his life. He enjoyed fishing, drawing and cars, especially vintage Novas and Cameros. More than anything he loved his children and grandchildren.
Mr. Hoxsey is survived by his father, William K. Hoxsey of Girard; mother, Katherine J. Hoxsey of Girard; sons, Robert W. (Kristie) Hoxsey of Ft. Campbell, KY, Blake A. Hoxsey of Girard and William E. Hoxsey of Girard; daughter, Harley M. Hoxsey of Farmersville; seven grandchildren, Katherine, Katrina, Abigail, Nathaniel, Jacob, Kyrie and Lenora; sisters, Michelle (Companion Jerry) Hoxsey of Springfield and Shawna (Roy) DeBose of Mt. Vernon, IN.
He was preceded in death by his companion Sandra Kay.
