Verda Hahnenkamp, 87, of Springfield, died on Wednesday, April 24, 2019, at Hillsboro Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.
Arrangements are pending at Hough Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
Ms. Hahnenkamp was born May 9, 1931, in Litchfield to Louis and Alma (Heyen) Hahnenkamp.
She graduated from Litchfield High School and went on to work as an insurance secretary in Pana and at Horace Mann in Springfield.
Ms. Hahnenkamp was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church in Springfield and enjoyed playing cards.
She is survived by two sisters, Ruth Benning of Raymond and Erma Hartke of Collinsville.
Ms. Hahnenkamp was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Bill and Raymond Hahnenkamp.
