Vicki Lynn Corrado, 63, of Litchfield, died on Tuesday, July 14, 2020, at 6:50 a.m. at her residence.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 17, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 18, beginning at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Mike Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Elm Lawn Cemetery in Litchfield. Masks will be required at the visitation and funeral service.
Mrs. Corrado was born Oct. 6, 1956, in Litchfield, to Murel Donald “Whitey” and Garnett Belle (Simpson) Bangert. She married Robert Otto Corrado on July 1, 1983, and he survives.
She graduated from Litchfield High School with the class of 1974. During her career, she worked at Aldi in Litchfield for over 20 years, Office Plus and later babysat her grandchildren.
Mrs. Corrado was a member of the Litchfield Southern Baptist Church and Eagles Aerie #4499 in Litchfield, where she served as trustee. She volunteered her time for Coats for Kids, the community Thanksgiving dinner, various church events and helped with Christmas basket deliveries.
She enjoyed camping, traveling, baking and going with her friends to shop at thrift stores and secondhand stores.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Corrado is survived by her daughter, Tara (Nathan) Gerl of Litchfield; sister, Darla (Wayne) Feldmann of Litchfield; two grandchildren, Colton and Ryder Gerl; sister-in-law, Joan Bangert; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert G. Bangert, Sr.; sister, Linda S. Tomazzoli; and twin infant grandsons, Logan and Landon Gerl.
