Mrs. Wolfe was born on July 24, 1941 to Henry Jr. and Cresentia (Boehme) Jacob in Litchfield. She was a 1959 graduate of Gillespie High School.  She married James Wolfe on July 25, 1959 in Litchfield, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 2, 2009.

Mrs. Wolfe was known for her craft of tending bar at then Ken's Lounge and Maggie's.  She also was employed in retail and owned her own business of cleaning homes.  Everyone that knew her loved her.  She loved to travel with her husband on his awards conventions. In fact, while in Las Vegas, she adored a performance by Elvis Presley.  She always talked about it and made sure everyone knew he was her favorite. Later, Mrs. Wolfe enjoyed travels with her adult daughters, from road trips to beaches in Florida and Hawaii. Mrs. Wolfe had a love for animals from being reared on the family farm, and her cat "Suzy" was by her side for "Grandma's" final breath.

Mrs. Wolfe is survived by her two daughters, Theresa A. Wolfe of Litchfield and Jan (companion, Jim Vazzi) Wolfe of Hillsboro; sister, Vida Marit of Litchfield; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Virgil, Vernon, Velva and Velma.
