Vivian Leslie Dealey, 63, of Sawyerville, died on Thursday, Nov. 9, 2023, at 11:40 a.m. at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
A memorial service for Mrs. Dealey will be at Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield, starting at 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 17. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until the time of services. The Rev. Albert Chaney of Faith Christian Fellowship will officiate.
Mrs. Dealey was born Aug. 10, 1960 in Oak Park, the daughter of Charles and Joyce (Milligan) Cissna. She married Gilbert L. Dealey in July of 2020 in Sawyerville.
Mrs. Dealey attended college for two years at Kaskaskia Community College in Centralia. She was a member of Faith Fellowship in Litchfield and was active with the Latter Rain Ministries. Mrs. Dealey enjoyed volunteering to help others, including the Motorcycle Ministry for the Christian Motorcycle Association. When she wasn’t riding her Harley, she was spending time loving on her family and fishing.
In addition to her husband, Gilbert, Mrs. Dealey is survived by her son, James (Mickayla Patton) Hillard, of Thompsonville; siblings, brother Charles J. Cissna of Harrisburg and sister Sandra C. Schepp of Carmi; four grandchildren, Jesse, Tylar, Jacob and Nevaeh; step son Evan Dealey and step daughter Rachael Dealey, both of Litchfield; and family members Heather Schepp and family of Carmi; Carmen Weeks and family of Aurora; Jennifer Coin and family of Rockford and Mike Cissna of Aurora,
Mrs. Dealey was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Cindy Lynn Cissna; and her granddaughter, Isabella Hillard.
