Vivian Maxine Elliott, 77, of O’Fallon, MO, formerly of Hillsboro, died Friday, Nov. 5, 2021, at her residence.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Nov. 27, from 9 a.m. to noon, at Calvary Baptist Church in Hillsboro. A memorial service will immediately follow visitation at 12 p.m. Burial will be at Sunnyside Cemetery in Sorento. The Rev. Randy Morrison and the Rev. Jeff Hemken will officiate.

Mrs. Elliott was born August 20, 1944 in Grisham Township, the daughter of Clarence R. and Leona M. (Havron) Hamby. She married Gary Andres Elliott on June 22, 1962, at the justice of the peace office in Hillsboro. They later divorced.

She was a graduate of Litchfield High School and worked as a utility worker at the Coffeen Power Station. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church, Church of God, and Baptist Church.

Mrs. Elliott is survived by her children, Debra (husband Brian) Cranfill, Karen (husband Tony) Traylor, Mark (wife Heidi) Elliott, John (wife Sarah) Elliott, Daniel Elliott, Jennifer (husband Derrick) Joyce, and Wendy (husband Suresh) Ramsaroop;19 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; brothers Donald (wife Elleta) Hamby, of Hillsboro, Norman (wife Doris) Hamby, of Hillsboro, and Calvin Hamby of Cottage Hills.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Pauline Stamberger; and brother Clarence Hamby, Jr.
