It was round two of the Hillbilly Gran Prix on Sunday, Nov. 29, and three of the Walker siblings from Morrisonville were ready to hit the trails at the Hardwood Hills Ranch in Mansfield, MO, for the event.
Jhadyn Walker would make his second pro start and would take sixth in an 18-racer field. Walker completed four laps in 1:41:45.252, finishing ahead of seventh place rider James King by just over two minutes and 12 seconds. Carlinville’s Rylan Frankford also ran pro and finished 11th overall in Missouri.
Kole Henslee and Travis Reynaud took the top two spots, clocking in at 2:00:18.439 and 2:00:42.303 as the only racers to complete five laps.
Jhak Walker would take the win in the B Junior class and was the only racer in the field to complete four laps. Walker would run a time of 1:58:22.901 to collect the win, while Koy Essary was second, the first of six riders who completed three laps.
Jhenner Walker, the youngest of the three sibling racing on Sunday, continued the family’s success in the PeeWee 8-and-Under A class. Walker completed 17 laps in 31:55.651 to finish second overall. Layton Dampier was third, running 16 laps in 31:53.717, while Cordale Pryor was first, completing 18 laps in 31:56.150.
Round three of the Hillbilly Gran Prix will be on Dec. 13 at Loaiza Dairy Farm in Westphalia, MO.
