Wanda Lorraine Julius, 90, of St. Elmo, died on Friday, Nov. 20, 2020, at 6:48 p.m. at Lutheran Care Center in Altamont.
A private family funeral service will be conducted. Those attending are asked to wear a mask and follow social distancing guidelines. Burial will be held at Fairview Methodist Cemetery in Sefton Township. Pagel Funeral Home in St. Elmo is assisting the family.
Mrs. Julius was born March 27, 1930, in Avena, to Robert H. and Maude F. (Hobson) Haslett. She married Dorwin E. Julius on June 30, 1948, at First Assembly of God in St. Elmo, and he preceded her in death.
A homemaker for most of her life, she enjoyed cooking for family get-togethers and holidays.
Mrs. Julius was a member of First Assembly of God in St. Elmo for many years. She loved going to church and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her sons, James Marion Julius of Beecher City, Robert “Bob” Julius of Kinmundy, Brian (wife Deb) Julius, Randy K. Julius and Darin D. Julius, all of St. Elmo; brothers, Don (wife Kathy) Haslett of Colorado, Bill (wife Jonez) Haslett of Mississippi and Joe (wife Jamie) Haslett of Missouri; sisters, Glynis (husband Dwight) Wright of St. Elmo and Twila (husband Paul) Presnell of Nokomis; 12 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Julius was preceded in death by her parents; and several brothers and sisters.
Memorials may be directed to First Assembly of God in St. Elmo or the donor’s choice.
