Wanda L. Robison, 79

Wanda Lee Robison died on Sunday, Sept. 26, 2021 at 7:01 p.m. in Mt. Olive.  She was 79 years old.

A visitation will be held at Edgewood Cemetery in Litchfield on Friday, Oct. 1 at 11:30 a.m.  The service will be officiated by the Rev. Ed Vogel and will begin at noon.  Becker and Son Funeral Home is assisting the family.

She was born on Feb. 6, 1942, the daughter of Hosea and Alice Louise (Spencer) Horton in Vina, AL. She attended Mary D. Bradford High School in Konosha, WI.   A member of the First Baptist Church in Mt. Olive,  Ms. Robison worked at Dana Brake Parts for 37 years; she retired in 2005.  After one year of retirement, she began working at Walmart in Litchfield.  She enjoyed spending time with customers and getting to know people from the Litchfield area.  After 10 years of employment with Walmart, she officially retired.  

She is survived by her daughter, Kim (Scott) Manns of Alton; two granddaughters, Shelbie (Matt) Callaway of Wentzville, MO and Valerie (Gabriel) Haggard of St. Charles, MO; one grandson, Mitchell Manns of Alton; one sister, Lora Marbutt of Red Bay, AL; and one brother, David Horton of McHenry, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Betty Jean Childers and Wilma Horton; and two brothers, Charles Horton and Angelo Horton.

Memorials are suggested to the First Baptist Church in Mt Olive.
