Wayne Leo Huber, 73, of Nokomis, died Tuesday, July 24, 2018, at 3:40 p.m. at Nokomis Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Nokomis.
Rosary will be held Friday, July 27, at 9:15 a.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church in Nokomis. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. at the church, with Father Albert Allen officiating. Burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery in Nokomis. Sutton Funeral Home in Nokomis is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Huber was born Aug. 27, 1944, to Leo and Rosa (Linderman) Huber.
He worked the past few years at FAYCO in Hillsboro. Mr. Huber enjoyed visiting with family and friends, particularly his nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his siblings, Melvin (Evelyn) Huber of Vandalia, Donald (Helen) Huber of Nokomis, Dorothy Archibald of Nokomis, Clement (Doris) Huber of Nokomis, Charlie (Wib) Huber of Tolono and Barb Duncan of Taylorville; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a nephew Seth Marquess; brother-in-law, Stanley Archibald; and a niece, Karen Huber.
