Wesley Oliver Johnson, age three, of Nokomis, died on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2023, at St. Louis Children’s Hospital.
The family will receive friends from 9 to 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 29, at Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home, located at 200 E. State Street in Nokomis. The funeral ceremony will follow the visitation at 11 a.m. with pastor Myron Kirk officiating. Interment will follow the ceremony at Nokomis Cemetery.
Wesley was born Sept. 2, 2020, in St. Louis, MO, the son of Kevin M. and Nicole H. (Presnell) Johnson. He was beloved by his parents, siblings, grandparents and all who knew him. He especially loved dinosaurs, with the T-Rex being his favorite.
He is survived by his parents, Nicole and Kevin Johnson of Nokomis; siblings, Lyla Hoffert, Nathan Johnson, Kody Johnson and Spencer Johnson; maternal grandmother, Tammy Morgason of Pana; paternal grandparents, Susan and Kevin Johnson of Taylorville; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Tim Presnell and Danny Fixsal.
