Wileen “Sue” (Skinner) Hendricks, 66, of Taylorville, died Monday, July 20, 2020, at 2 a.m. at her residence.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 22, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Morrisonville. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at the church with the Rev. Chad Foster officiating. Interment will follow in Harpers Ferry Cemetery in Palmer. Perfetti-Assalley Funeral Home in Morrisonville is assisting the family.

Ms. Hendricks was born July 10, 1954, in Taylorville, the daughter of Harold and Ruth (Oller) Skinner.

She was a CNA for many years, and taking care of people is what she did best. Family meant everything to her. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Morrisonville, as well as a member of Royal Neighbors of America.  She was an avid reader, including her favorite book, The Bible.

Ms. Hendricks is survived by her son, Terry Skinner of Hobart, WA; daughter, April (husband Jean) Abboud of Taylorville; grandchildren, Zackarayah, David, Aubrey, Destiny and Brandon; one great-grandchild; siblings, Larry Skinner of Blue Mound, Sheila Skinner of Taylorville; James (wife Marilyn) Skinner of Morrisonville, Mary (husband Claude) Grandfield of Blue Mound, Donald (wife Brenda) Skinner of Harvel and Clarissa (husband William) Hirtman of Decatur; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by  sisters, Ruby Helms, Alberta Delahunt, Violet Woodkirk, Betty Skinner and Brenda Skinner; and brothers, Melvin “Bill”, Earl, Sherman and Clifford Skinner.
