William 'Bill' Dustmann, 81

William L. Dustmann, 81, of Worden, died on Friday, Nov. 22, 2019, at Alhambra Care Center in Alhambra.

Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 26, at Dauderman Mortuary in Hamel.Funeral Service will follow, at 11:00 a.m., at the mortuary, with Rev. Kelly Mitteis, pastor of Zion Lutheran Church of Staunton officiating. Interment will be at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Carpenter. Dauderman Mortuary of Hamel is assisting the family with arrangements.

Mr. Dustmann was born on Sunday, Sept. 18, 1938, in Litchfield, to Arthur and Emelia (Gusewelle) Dustmann. He was a Former Member of the Machinist Union, Bluff City Lodge 660 of East Alton and the Western Club of East Alton. Mr. Dustmann retired from Olin Brass of East Alton, after working there from 1957 to 2000. He lived many years outside of Worden and enjoyed completing word search books in his spare time.

Mr. Dustmann is survived by his siblings, Myra M. Daugherty, of Staunton, Marlen L. (LaVonne) Dustmann of Staunton, Norma A. Albrecht of Worden and Wilma M. Brunnworth; and life companion, Catherine P. Carter (nee Puncher) of Worden.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Eldon Dustmann, Loris Dustmann and Delmar Dustmann; and brother-in-laws, Darrol Daugherty, Victor Albrecht and Alvin Brunnworth.
