William J. "Bill" Allen II, 58, of New Douglas, died Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2019, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville.
A private interment of his remains will be held in New Douglas Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, Dec. 11, at 1 p.m. at the New Douglas Senior Citizen Community Center. Lesicko Funeral Home in New Douglas is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Allen was born Dec. 22, 1960, in Olney, the son of William J. I and Bernice L. (Dunstedter) Allen.
He worked as a disaster recovery technician, and had previously worked at Highland Machine as a painter. He also did concrete work and odd jobs throughout the community.
He is survived by his son, Andrew Allen of Caseyville; daughter, Pamela Allen of Collinsville; four grandchildren, Callie, Jacob, Madison and Luke; Karen (Williams) Warren, the mother of Andrew and Pamela; three sisters, Barbara Hixon of Claremont, Betsy (husband Larry) Hoback of High Point, MO, and Brenda Kaul of Litchfield; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Bonnie Allen and Bernice Deckard.
