William W. "Bill" Lentz, Jr., 81 of Witt, died at 11:11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 30, 2019, at Hillsboro Rehab & Healthcare.
Private family services were held Oct. 12 in Witt Cemetery.
He was born on March 18, 1938, in Hillsboro, the son of William and Viola (Bean) Lentz. He married MaryLee Carriker, she preceded him in death on June 15, 1986.
Mr. Lentz served in the United States Army, was a former member of the Witt Lions Club, loved to hunt and fish.
He is survived by his children, Kirk (wife Pam) Lentz of Irving, Lisa (husband Mike) McCune of Ripley, WV, Kim (husband Jim) Muzzillo of Mt. Prospect, Heather Lentz and companion Darryl Hymes of Chatham; brothers Bob Lentz, Charles (wife Doris) Lentz, Floyd (wife Karen) Lentz, all of Hillsboro; grandchildren, Tricia, Chris, Kara, Mitchell, Zach, Nick, Jimmy, Matt, Danielle and Riley; and great-grandchildren Sage and Zelda.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife MaryLee and a sister, Rhonda.
