Wilma E. Hagemeier, 96, of Nokomis, died on Friday, May 24, 2019, at 6:47 p.m. at Nokomis Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

Visitation will be held Saturday, June 1, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Nokomis. Funeral services will follow, beginning at 12 p.m. at the church with Pastor Christen Prumm officiating. Burial will take place in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in Nokomis. Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home in Nokomis is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Hagemeier was born Aug. 16, 1922, in Witt, to Walter E. and Edna L. (Engelhart) Schweizer. She married Orlan F. Hagemeier on Feb. 17, 1943, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 25, 2013.

A farmwife, she was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Nokomis, Ladies Aid and LWML.

Mrs. Hagemeier is survived by children, Joyce (Larry) Fesser of Farmersville, Nancy (Jack) DeWerff of Nokomis and Jim (Nancy) Hagemeier of Taylorville; grandchildren, Susan (husband Larry) Krumholz of Eureka, Mark (wife Tara) Fesser of O'Fallon, MO, Rachelle (husband Adam) McDowell of Nokomis, Julie (husband Joe) Bruso of Rochester, Michael DeWerff of Nokomis, Craig Hagemeier of Chicago and Leah (husband Brandon) Davis of Rochester; 14 great-grandchildren, Brad and Katie Krumholz, Aaron and Olivia Bruso, Alexis and Austin McDowell, Derek, Taylor and Jacqueline Fesser, Gabrielle, Kennedy and Maddison DeWerff and Elise and Lila Davis; sister, Alberta Quattlander; and brothers, Melvin (Delores) Schweizer and Charles Schweizer.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Alice Schweizer; and a granddaughter, Sheila Fesser.
