Dorothy Louise Marburger, 85, died on Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2026, at Copper Creek Cottages Memory Care in Litchfield.
Funeral services officiated by Pastor Zachary Krampien were held on Friday, Jan. 16. Interment took place at Mt. Olive Cemetery. Lunch for family and friends immediately followed interment at Zion Lutheran Church Hall. Becker and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Marburger was born on Jan. 11, 1941, in Chesterfield, to William Olen and Birdie Lou (Riddle) Trill. She married Larry Lee Marburger on April 1, 1961, in Chesterfield, and he survives. She was a homemaker and also a school secretary for local Lutheran churches. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, ATA and Midstate Motorcycle Club. She was also an election judge.
She is survived by her husband, Larry; son, Alan; daughter, Cathy (Rick) Gerhardt; grandchildren, Zachary (Andrea), Austin and Allison Marburger and Candice Gerhardt; and great-grandchildren, Aleigha and Alaina.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Charles Trill.
Memorials are suggested to the Mt. Olive Zion Lutheran Church and the Mt. Olive Care Center.
