Geraldine M. Stauder, 85, of Nokomis died at 7 a.m. Monday, Sept. 9, 2013, at Hillsboro Area Hospital in Hillsboro.
Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 13, at St. Louis Catholic Church in Nokomis. Funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m. at the church with Father Dan Willenborg officiating.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Nokomis. Sutton Funeral Home in Nokomis is in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Stauder was born in Witt Township on March 25, 1928, the daughter of the late Phillip W. and Lena (Epley) Stauder.
She was a cook for the Two Brothers Restaurant and also prepared meals for Father Hogan. She was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Nokomis.
Ms. Stauder is survived by her nephew, James (Lynne) Stauder of Nokomis; nieces, Sally (Doug) Keenan of Pana and Sandra Stauder of Chatham; and several cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Marvin; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Stauder; and niece, Suzanne Stauder.
