Jeffrey Duane Boaz, 51, of Gillespie, died at Springfield Memorial Hospital in Springfield, on Friday, Oct. 23, 2026.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Mr. Boaz was born June 15, 1975, in Springfield, to Millard Leamon Boaz and Norma Margrette Potts Boaz. He was a contractor and enjoyed auto restoration, home remodeling and traveling.
He is survived by his mother, Margrette Boaz of Gillespie; daughter, Jenna Boaz of Bethalto; son, Kalvin (spouse, Haley) Hill of Gillespie; brothers, Norman (spouse, Kathy) Boaz of Girard, Greg (companion, Camille Thompson) Boaz of Gillespie and Kenneth Boaz of Litchfield; sisters, Debi (spouse, Bob) Rauzi of Gillespie and Sandra (spouse, Bill) Brown of Springfield.
Mr. Boaz was preceded in death by his father.
