John P. Trojcak Jr., 93, of Girard, died on Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2025, at Carlinville Area Hospital in Carlinville.
A private celebration of life for both John and Nancy will be held. Burial will follow in Girard Cemetery in Girard.
Mr. Trojcak was born July 2, 1932, in Taylorville, a son of John Paul and Mary (Little John) Trojcak, Sr. He graduated from Girard High School with the class of 1950 and then attended Blackburn College.
He married Nancy on July 6, 1953, at Christian Church Parsonage in Girard.
Mr. Trojcak was a farmer for his whole life; most of his work was done on the family farm in the Girard area. He was a member of the Macoupin County Farm Bureau and the Farmers and Merchants Bank Board. He enjoyed many things in life, like farming, reading, mowing his yard, bowling and having lunch with the guys every Thursday. The thing he loved the most was being with his family and spending time with his wife Nancy.
Mr. Trojcak was preceded in death by his wife; parents; and son, John C. Trojcak.
Mr. Trojcak is survived by his sons, Scott (Kris) Trojcak of Girard and Jay (Justina) Trojcak of Litchfield; grandson, Josh (Alexa) Trojcak; granddaughter, Staci (Jon) Hays; granddaughter, Carson (Izik) SanMiguel; granddaughter, Kacy (Chance Olson) Trojcak; granddaughter, Courtney (Amanda) Pingleton; granddaughter, Kira (companion Blake) Trojcak; grandson, Bryce (Brooke) Trojcak; and seven great-grandchildren, Colson, Brooklyn, Scarlett, Jaxon, Kaelyn, Tori and Summit.
