Marion Harold Durr, 80, of Van Burensburg, died at 2:37 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 17, 2026.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Jan. 23, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Toberman-Dean Funeral Home in Coffeen. Father Jeffrey Stone will preside. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery in Van Burensburg. Visitation will be held Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
Mr. Durr was born on Feb. 24, 1945, a son of Herschel Emeril and Evelyn Eurura (Wilson) Durr. He graduated from Vandalia High School with the class of 1964.
Mr. Durr was a desk clerk at The Garden’s Restaurant and Hotel and Best Value Inn, both in Litchfield. He also worked with Crane Packing Co. in Vandalia. He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Greenville.
Mr. Durr is survived by his brother, Harry (Jacque) Durr of Vandalia; niece, Ashley (Matthew) Brooks of Louisville; great-niece and great-nephew, Cecilia and Creed; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herschel and Evelyn.
