Nancy F. Trojcak, 92, of Girard, died on Monday, October 13, 2025, peacefully at her home surrounded by her loved ones.
Per her request, private family services will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Trojcak was born on Aug. 27, 1933, in Carlinville, a daughter of Clayton and Gustava (Fite) Harrison. She graduated from Girard High School with the class of 1951.
She married John P. Trojcak on July 6, 1953, in the Christian Church Parsonage in Girard. He followed her in death on Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2025.
Mrs. Trojcak had a few jobs before finding her true calling. She first worked at Innman Department Store in Carlinville. Later she became the receptionist and assistant for the Dr. Mark Wade Chiropractic Office in Carlinville. Finally, she found her greatest passion as a homemaker and mother. Mrs. Trojcak was great at yard work and housekeeping; having a beautiful home was one of her many joys.
What really made Mrs. Trojcak so great was her love of helping and taking care of others. Her family was her life; she was very proud of the family she made and nurtured over the course of her long, loving life.
Mrs. Trojcak was preceded in death by her parents and son, John C. Trojcak.
She is survived by her sons, Scott (Kris) Trojcak of Girard and Jay (Justina) Trojcak of Litchfield; grandson, Josh (Alexa) Trojcak; granddaughter, Staci (Jon) Hays; granddaughter, Carson (Izik) SanMiguel; granddaughter, Kacy (Chance Olson) Trojcak; granddaughter, Courtney (Amanda) Pingleton; granddaughter, Kira (companion Blake) Trojcak; grandson, Bryce (Brooke) Trojcak; and seven great-grandchildren, Colson, Brooklyn, Scarlett, Jaxon, Kaelyn, Tori and Summit.
