With Halloween over and the leaves quickly changing color, thoughts are turning to Thanksgiving.

The 22nd annual community-wide Thanksgiving dinner will be held Thursday, Nov. 28, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the K.C. Hall in Taylor Springs, located on Route 185.

The meal is free of charge and is arranged by Hillsboro area churches. All are welcome to attend, and reservations are not required.

Deliveries will be made to shut-ins only. Transportation is available for those needing a ride. Call the United Methodist Church at 532-3734 on weekdays between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. before Thanksgiving Day to make arrangements for deliveries or transportation. On Thanksgiving Day, call the K.C. Hall at 532-5194.
