The Montgomery County Sharks Swim Team remains undefeated at home, winning their third home meet of the season against the Springfield Fitness and Racquet Club Swim Team on Saturday, June 27. The Sharks took the top spot in 19 races to beat out SFRC 2,348 to 2,220.

Hundreds of spectators attended the inaugural cardboard boat regatta on Saturday afternoon, July 4, at the Lake Hillsboro Beach. Above Tyler Downs, at left, and Donnie Downs of Hillsboro, don their floaties before taking to the waves in their boat, It Otter Float. It turns out they needed their floaties since their boat quickly sank, earning them the Titanic award.
