Alicia Lynn Grosenheider, 52, of Litchfield, formerly of Raymond, died on Sunday, Oct. 7, 2018, at 4:15 a.m. at Evelyn's House Hospice in Creve Coeur, MO.

Visitation will be held Thursday, Oct. 11, from 2 to 7 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Litchfield. Funeral services will be held Friday, Oct. 12, beginning at 11 a.m. at the church with the Rev. Fred Kraemer officiating.

Burial will take place at Edgewood Cemetery in Litchfield. Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Grosenheider was born March 23, 1966, in Hillsboro, to Merrill Allen and Virginia Ann (Schneider) Wernsing. She married Douglas Scott Grosenheider on April 4, 1992, at Zion Lutheran Church in Litchfield, and he survives.

She graduated from Lincolnwood High School with the class of 1984, and attended Tri-County Beauty Academy in Litchfield, where she obtained her cosmetology license.

Mrs. Grosenheider owned and operated Hair Designs Plus for over 30 years, and was also involved with the family farms.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Litchfield and The Montgomery County Cancer Association. She also helped found The Montgomery County Breast Cancer Support Group, where she spent countless hours volunteering her time, lending support and giving encouragement to others.

Mrs. Grosenheider enjoyed boating, snowmobiling, going to Disney and traveling.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Shayla (fiance Philip Kaeb) Grosenheider of Litchfield; a son, Cole Grosenheider of Litchfield; her mother of Raymond; father and mother-in-law, Ronald and Barbara Grosenheider of Litchfield; two brothers, Lyndell (Connie) Wernsing of Raymond and Theron (Ann) Wernsing of Carlinville; and nieces and nephews, Brant, Whittney, Hillary and Jenna Wernsing, Brandy O'Malley and Zach and Scott (Jessica) Grosenheider.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Memorials may be directed to The Montgomery County Breast Cancer Support Group or Onward In Faith Campaign - Zion Lutheran School in Litchfield.
