Ann Catherine (Williamson) Wagner, 76, of Wilmington, NC, formerly of Hillsboro, died Saturday, July 4, 2015.
Funeral services were held Thursday, July 8, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Wilmington, NC.
Mrs. Wagner was born in Canton on Dec. 2, 1938, the daughter of the late Russell A. and Stella A. (Smith) Williamson. She married James "Jim" Wagner, formerly of Pittsburgh, PA, and he survives after 53 years of marriage.
She graduated with the class of 1957 from Hillsboro High School and from St. John's School of Nursing in Springfield with the class of 1960. She worked as a nurse for over 40 years at Divine Providence Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA, and Laurel Crest Manor in Edensburg, PA.
Mrs. Wagner is survived by her son, David Wagner and family of Pittsburgh, PA; daughter, Amy Wagner of Oakland, CA; brothers, Garry R. (Pam) Williamson and James "Jim" R. (Karen) Williamson of Hillsboro; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Mark George Wagner of Johnstown, PA; and sister, Norma Jean Piazza of Hillsboro.
