Audrey A. Martin, 90, of Witt died Monday, July 11, 2016, at Hillsboro Rehab & Health Care Center.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, July 16, at the Hillsboro Free Methodist Church at 10 a.m. with Pastor Randy Sands officiating. Burial will be in Witt Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday, July 15, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the church. McCracken-Dean Funeral Home and Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home are in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Martin was born Feb. 7, 1926, in rural Nokomis, the daughter of the late Gordy Bruce and Bertha Rowena (Megaw) Ryan. She married LeRoy M. Martin on June 21, 1946, at Buckeye Methodist Church, and he preceded her in death in February 1973.
A graduate of Taylorville High School, she lived most of her life in the Buckeye area and Witt. She was a member of the Cornerstone Christian Fellowship in Witt, a homemaker and had worked at Hillsboro Area Hospital in the office for several years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening and flowers.
Mrs. Martin is survived by her children, Edward L. (wife Carole) Martin of Witt, Suzanne (husband Gary) Weller of Witt, Deborah K. (husband Rod) Bruce of Crystal River, FL, James R. (wife Sharon) Martin of Witt, Jeffrey C. (wife Lorraine) Martin of Nokomis and Jay L. (wife Becki) Martin of Witt; 18 grandchildren, Schelli Sanders, Stacie Merano, Ted Martin, Jeremy Weller, Joshua Weller, Jason Weller, Mindy Weed, Dawn Lofley, Roddy Bruce, Gabe Martin, Michelle Kahle, Lisa Martin, Jessica Martin, Bethany Stuhlman, Ben Martin, Daniel Martin, David Martin and Andrew Martin; and 28 great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Camden Michael Weller, and her brothers, James Elsworth Ryan and Bruce Elegene Ryan.
