Clifford Andrew Kapilla, 90, of Ocala, FL, died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2014.
A memorial service was held Sunday, Oct. 5, at St. John Lutheran Church in Ocala, FL.
Mr. Kapilla was born in Nokomis on Sept. 6, 1924, the son of Andrew and Anne Kapilla. His wife, Cleo L. Kapilla, survives after 61 years of marriage.
A veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II, he was a retired salesman for Ace Supply and a member of St. John Lutheran Church.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Kapilla is survived by a daughter, Cayla Armatti of North Pole, AK; son, Camm Andrew Kapilla (wife Lydia Alley-Kapilla) of Sparks, GA; grandchildren, Andrea and Josh Huguley, Olivia Armatti, Will and Lu Danforth, Alley and Stephanie Danforth and Marah and J.R. Eaton; great-grandchildren, Landyn, Trace and Adilynn Danforth, Mason and Kamden Andrew Danforth and Jayden Eaton, with two more great-grandchildren due in March 2015; and sister, Shirley Anne (George) Hubbard of Nokomis.
