Gary W. Lewis, 49, of Hillsboro died on Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at his residence.
A memorial service will be held at Hough & Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 19, with the Rev. Randy White, pastor of Open Arms Fellowship, officiating.
Visitation will be held from 12 noon until the time of service at the funeral home.
Mr. Lewis was born on May 8, 1967, in Hillsboro a son of the late Donna (Rude) Friesland. He was a graduate of Hillsboro High School.
Mr. Lewis volunteered at Love Packages in Butler and enjoyed riding his bicycle.
He attended both Walshville Christian Church in Walshville and Open Arms Fellowship in Irving.
He is survived by a brother, Roger Hammond of Litchfield.
