L. Wayne Bowermaster, 44, of Hillsboro died Monday, Aug. 31, 2015.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4, at Hough and Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, at the funeral home with the Rev. Myron Kirk officiating.
Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Hillsboro. A luncheon is planned at Grace Fellowship Church after burial.
Mr. Bowermaster was born in Litchfield on Nov. 20, 1970, the son of Judy Bowermaster. He married Jaymi L. Brent on May 16 2015, and she survives.
He was a graduate of Litchfield High School and worked at Ahlstrom paper for 17 years. He enjoyed the Chicago Cubs and Dallas Cowboys teams. He loved God and was a member of Grace Fellowship Church in Fillmore.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Bowermaster is survived by his mother, Judy Bowermaster; father figure, Bernie Huber; eight stepchildren that he loved as his own. Austin, Sarah, Samantha, Bryon, Emily, Quinton, Stephanie and Isiah; one brother, Tom (wife Paula) Melchert; two sisters, Jeanne (husband Lloyd) Prokopf and Sandra (husband Danny) Wright; brother-in-law, Duane Gerdes; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Deborah Gerdes.
