Lorna Jean (Bray) Colecchi, 55, of Denver died Sunday, Jan. 5, 2013, at her residence.
Private services will be held.
Ms. Colecchi was born in Springfield on June 15, 1957, the daughter of John Robert and Edna Loraine (Walkington) Bray. She married John Colecchi in 1986, and they later divorced.
Raised near Farmersville, she graduated from Lincolnwood High School with the class of 1975. She attended the University of Illinois and graduated from St. John's School of Radiology.
Ms. Colecchi was a radiographer at a level one trauma center and had certifications in mammography and computerized tomography at Denver Health for over 19 years. Prior to that she had worked at the Mayo Clinic. She loved animals and gardening.
She is survived by a daughter, Mary Colecchi of Denver; her mother, Loraine Bray of Litchfield; brother, Rick (wife June) Bray of Alexandria, LA; sister, Nadine (husband David) Hitchings of Raymond; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and two aunts.
Ms. Colecchi was preceded in death by her father and grandparents.
